Mondays, All summer ... The Hepburn
Library of Edwards has added STORYWALK to the Trout Lake Public
Access Trail. STORYWALK is a children's picture book attached to
stakes placed along the Trout Lake Public Access Trail. The trail
is approximately 1 mile long, marked with trail markers and leads to a
sandy public beach. STORYWALK is placed on approximately 1/2 mile of

July 12 - July 23 ... The Edwards
Hepburn Library will hold their annual book sale during library
hours ... Monday and Tuesday, 12-5; Wednesday, 9-12; Thursday, 12-4
and Friday, 9-12. A local artist display will be in the
library's reading room at this time. E-mail Elaine

Sunday, July 25 ... The Annual Edwards Lions
Festival will be held all day at the Lions field on Hall Road.
There will be a huge parade at 1 PM. There will be hamburgers,
hotdogs, sausage, nachos, and our famous French fries. There may
be crafters and games as well. Contact Crystal

Saturday,
August 7 ... Veteran musicians David Phenicie, Nick Randolph,
Shawn Davis and Phil Hurley make up Stonehoney. They serve up a
home-cooked soul stew of good time American music with plenty of sweet

Friday and Saturday, August 7 & 8 ... The Trout
Lake Rod & Gun Club will hold their annual Bob Davis Rock Bass
Derby for children ages 1-15 on Trout Lake in Hermon, New York.
Registration for the event and fish turn-in point is at the Hamiltons'
on the Trout Lake Road, CR 19. Watch for signs.
Registration is essential to be placed in the derby. No charge
for registration. Derby starts at 9 AM on Friday and will close
at 3 PM on Saturday. No entries allowed after that time. A
picnic and awards for all participants and their families will be held
on the Lions Club Field, Hall Road in Edwards at 5 PM on
Saturday. The public is welcom to fish and attend awards.
